The 40th annual Santa Monica-Venice Christmas Run makes its way to the beach communities Saturday, Dec,16, 2017. 5k runners will be participating in the 5k and 10k complete with a costume contest. Kids can join the kids 1k run. the race starts right next to the Santa Monica Beach on Barnard Way close to the intersection of Ocean Park Blvd., then heads down south to the world famous Venice Boardwalk, fallowing a winding path onto the natural beauty of Venice, with the finish at the iconic Venice Pavilion.
